June 1: Help them to acquire discipline
for acquiring a disciplined and prudent life, doing what is right and just and fair; let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance- (Proverbs 1:3,5)
Thank you for this new month and for this new day. We give you thanks and praise. We thank you, Lord, as we await the summer and see your creation bloom to life. Help us to stay healthy so we may live with hope. Help our children to bear the fruit of their studies as they finish up the school year.
Lord, give our children your words in the Proverbs so they may learn to correct themselves through God's word. May they hear many words of wisdom and admonition. Help them to live with righteousness, justice, and fairness through the word of God. Help them to listen to God's wisdom with thankful hearts.
We pray in Jesus' name, Amen.
June 2 Keep them from folly
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline. (Proverbs 1:7)
Lord, you are full of grace and truth. Thank you for today and this time of prayer. Help our children to get used to school and give them the desire to learn. Lord, give them your Sabbath rest as they go to sleep, and meet them in the morning, clothing them with your strength.
We pray for our children that they may learn knowledge through the holy fear of the Lord. You have taught us that fools despise wisdom and discipline. May our children listen closely and carefully to the word of God, and live accordingly in their lives. Help them to give thanks for the discipline that comes from the Lord. May they never be found to be foolish like those who despise wisdom and discipline. May they follow God's word to the end so they may have the victory.

June 3 Keep us from temptation
My son, if sinners entice you, do not give in to them. (Proverbs 1:10)
God of love, we have come before you with our heads bowed down. There are many things in this world which tempt us, but thank you for protecting us with your word. If in your sight, we have been led astray by temptation, please lead us to repent. Help us to never compromise with the standards of this world. Lord, we pray especially for our children that they may not be led astray by the temptations of this world. Give them strength to overcome these temptations.
Jehovah Nissi, you are the Lord our Banner. You are our strength. Help our children to hold your words in their hearts so they may never be devoured by temptation. Help them to prevail over temptations through the Word of God. Help us to realize how weak we are by ourselves. Help us to put on the armor of God's word and prayer, for you are our shield.
We pray in the name of Jesus, who is the King of Victory. Amen.
June 4 May their walk be blameless
He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, (Proverb2:7)
God of mercy and truth, thank you for being the shepherd of our family once again today. Lord, our children have come back from school where they have learned many things; however, help them to desire more than mere knowledge and academic learning. Help them to live a life of constant learning.
We desire that our children live according to God's words more than anything else, so they may learn wisdom and walk blamelessly. Help them to grow into the person whom God has created them to be and to never walk in pride and arrogance.
Lord God, help us to be good parents whose walk is blameless so we may set a good example for our children. You never slumber, and you watch over us even when we are sleeping. Watch over us tonight.
